What is the initiation for the Fraternal Order of Eagles? ›

The prospective member was asked to promise before God and on his honor, not to disclose the rituals of the Order to anyone outside of the FOE. The initiation took place in a lodge room furnished with an altar and a Bible and included religious phrases and prayers.

As a member, you have access to more than 1,500 Aeries across the United States and Canada. Aeries can offer a wide array of amenities including discounted food and drinks, billiards, darts, dancing, karaoke, card games and make a perfect venue to gather for sporting events, banquets and parties!

Aerie is for the men (which woman can be voted in but uncommon) that's the only way you have a "voice" Auxiliary is for the women.

The group's early motto, "Skin'em," became the secret password to identify members while the official motto was changed to "Liberty, Truth, Justice and Equality."

After Initiation, pay your dues of $50.00 and then you are officially a Brother or Sister Eagle. (First year membership dues are waived for veterans, law enforcement personnel, firefighters, and EMS personnel.) You can take part in all meetings and social functions of the Aerie/Auxiliary.

After undergoing the Initiation proper, the applicants will have to endure a waiting period of three (3) months (known as the Incubation Stage) wherein they shall be required to attend the monthly General Membership Meetings and perform three (3) Community Services without fail.
